This will be the annual "display only" attendance for us at the Horseless Carriage Club of Missouri's EASTER CONCOURS d'ELEGANCE CAR SHOW.

OK, in 2009 the MG Club was thoroughly beaten is this Friendly (on the surface anyway) challenge. We cannot allow the 'rumfies to out show us again! Be sure to sign up for the Easter Car show. If you've never attended, as a participant or visitor, this is a spectacular show! The challenge is to see whether the MG or Triumph club can get the most vehicles to the show and in attendance.

APRIL MEETING UPDATE

We are planning a "Natter and Noggin" and this meeting is set. We will be meeting at Growler's Pub on Old Ballas Rd.

We have reserved the "Snug Room" at the pub from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
We will have a short meeting at 7:00 PM but the night is primarily social.
Let's get as many people as possible to show up and make the evening a success.

3rd Annual Terry Fanning Rally

• Time: 12:45 PM with first car off at 1 PM
• Place: Bentley Dealership/St. Louis Motorsports, One Arnage Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63005

• Duration: Less than 75 miles so about 2 hours
• Style: Gimmick rally - directions & questions
• End Point: Chesterfield Valley - Restaurant TBD

The MG Club of St. Louis will sponsor the Third Terry Fanning Rally. The weather forecast hopefully will be warmer than what we are having now. There will be a rally of less than 75 miles. It will be a simple gimmick rally suitable for friends and family. There will be challenges of your driving skills along the way. The rally will end in about two hours and returns to the Chesterfield Valley were we will debrief and warm up in a warm restaurant. There will be no fees, no prizes but every opportunity to enjoy, hopefully, the early spring weather. This event is an open invitation to all those who love British cars or are enthusiast of classic sports cars. We do ask that certain procedure be followed that will allow everyone to enjoy the drive.

MARCH 10 DEADLINE! DO NOT fill out a registration form on the HCCMO site. Club displays are coordinated and John is doing that. Just send John your check for $15 and he'll take care of the rest.

On the day of the show, Sunday, April 4, 2010, Meet BY 8:30am (aka be there before this so we can leave at this time) in the parking lot of Lindell Bank 6900 Clayton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139. The parking entrance for the bank is actually off of McCausland Ave. This is so that we can drive in/caravan to the show together and make sure everyone is parked as a club.
