The MG Club of St. Louis will sponsor the Third Terry Fanning Rally. The weather forecast hopefully will be warmer than what we are having now. There will be a rally of less than 75 miles. It will be a simple gimmick rally suitable for friends and family. There will be challenges of your driving skills along the way. The rally will end in about two hours and returns to the Chesterfield Valley were we will debrief and warm up in a warm restaurant. There will be no fees, no prizes but every opportunity to enjoy, hopefully, the early spring weather. This event is an open invitation to all those who love British cars or are enthusiast of classic sports cars. We do ask that certain procedure be followed that will allow everyone to enjoy the drive.

On the day of the show, Sunday, April 4, 2010, Meet BY 8:30am (aka be there before this so we can leave at this time) in the parking lot of Lindell Bank 6900 Clayton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139. The parking entrance for the bank is actually off of McCausland Ave. This is so that we can drive in/caravan to the show together and make sure everyone is parked as a club. *** Open to all British vehicles built before 1982 ***

We will be meeting at the Hooters of Maryland Heights, MO (11835 Lackland Rd, St Louis, Missouri) at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 24. Teams will have until 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 25 to reach all the locations that are given at the meeting, answer the required questions, and make it back to the parking lot of Hooters of Maryland Heights. The team covering the least number of miles wins. Any team that arrives after 8:00 a.m. is disqualified. We will then have an awards ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Before the teams leave on Saturday morning, they will drive a set course to calculate any mileage offset that they may have with their odometers. The offset will be determined mathematically. Also before leaving, teams will be required to sign an event waiver then seal their driver’s license in an envelope. Any team that gets stopped and has to break the seal on the envelope is disqualified. Teams must drive in a safe manner and obey all Missouri traffic laws.

Those competing in the Missouri Mini-Endurance Test will also meet at Hooters and participate in the mileage check run. After the check run, teams will be given a list of locations and will have until midnight that night to make it back to the start. Teams arriving after midnight will be disqualified. The awards ceremony will take place at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

An all-Healey car show will take place on the Museum's plaza from 10:00a.m to 3:00p.m. This will be open to the public. A food and drink concession will be provided for the convenience of all. The 2010 Heartland MG Regional

l will be held on Friday June 11th and Saturday June the 12th at the very popular Santa Fe Commons Park, at 81st and Santa Fe Parkway, Overland Park, KS. http://www.heartlandmgregional.com

The show really begins Friday night with our "Welcome back" cook-out at a small park located just 5 blocks from Saturday's show. Food and beverages are free and it has been a great place to see old MG friends and make new ones!

Friday night free BBQ and drinks. Saturday the 12th, the day begins with "Pancakes in the Park" at 7:30 AM. This feature added in 2007, has proved to be very popular with everyone. One ticket is included in your registration price and others can be purchased at the park.

The show gets started at 9 AM and judging will be by popular vote of the registered entrants. Trophies will be awarded beginning at 3:30 at the Santa Fe Commons Gazebo.

BritishV8 Annual Meeting

"BritishV8" annual meets are for all enthusiasts of performance-modified British sports cars. We're informal: there's no "club" here, and there's no "car show" either. There certainly are no "judges". Just come prepared to have fun and to share ideas about improving some of the world's most wonderful automobiles. Bring a friend, and bring your camera!

BritishV8 2010 - July 8 - 10 - Indianapolis, Indiana

The fourteenth annual British V8 meet will be held in or near Indianapolis, Indiana from Thursday July 8th through Saturday July 10th. Arrivals on Wednesday, departures on Sunday. Our hotel contract begins on Wednesday, July 7th if you wish to come in a little early. Activities will be scheduled from Thursday through Saturday.

Schenley Park is the scene of our nation's only vintage race held on city streets. This 456 acre golf course and park hosts over 2,000 show cars and well over 200,000 spectators for the weekend. The PVGP races through Schenley Park are considered by many drivers to be the most challenging race course worldwide. The 2.33 mile circuit has 23 turns not to mention haybales, manhole covers, phone poles and stone walls. There are practice/warm-up sessions each morning. Qualifying races take place on Saturday with the Crown Royal Featured Races on Sunday. Both afternoons feature exciting racing as groups are separated by engine size and year of manufacture. There is little difference to spectators between Saturday's and Sunday's track action as over 150 cars will compete.

The Salisbury House Foundation presents the Salisbury Concours d'Elegance and show. The Salisbury House is an English manor house located in Des Moines, Iowa situated in ten acres of oak woods and gardens. The house was feateure on the A&E Network series, America's Castles. The purpose of the Salisbury Concours is to raise funds for the preservation and restoration of the Salisbury House and gardens.
