Notice anything different? New Web Site Elements

So it’s been a while since we’ve been able to add some enhancements to the site but you should now be able to notice 2 new menu items; Photo Gallery and Drive Archive.

The photo gallery is split to provide 2 sections. One will be pictures of various car shows and the other will be from any drives and or rallies that we do or members take part in. If you have some content you’d like me to add to either of these send me an e-mail and we can figure out the logistics. If you’re using Google’s Picasa to host the images it’s really easy as that’s what I use.

The drive archive will start to provide PDF downloads of various drive and or rally routes that have been used in the past. Hopefully this will build into a nice collection so if you miss the event or simply want to re-run the route for whatever reason you’ll be able to get the directions that were provided at the time.

MG Club of St. Louis - Winners of the Nuffield Trophy for 2007

So, the MG Club of St. Louis is the proud recipient of the prestigous Nuffield Trophy for 2007. This was awarded to the club at the monthly meeting held December 10, 2007 by Mr. Rick Ingram, Executive Director of the Council of North American MG Registers on behalf of the MG Car Club UK and Mr. Brian Woodhams, Overseas Director.

More news and updates to follow shortly but for everyone that couldn't make it this was "the surprise" for tonight's meeting. This is a great honor and recognition for our club. We will hold the trophy, in trust, for the next year. Full details of the event and the history of this magnificent award will be in the January newsletter.
